LetterTrain Terms of Use
These terms cover LetterTrain (“the app”, listed on Google Play as “Letter Train: ABC Tracing”), published by AlvaForge, the brand of 18171254 Canada Inc. (“we”, “us”), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. By installing or using the app you agree to them. The app is meant for children to use with a parent or caregiver; the grown-up who installs it and makes any purchase accepts these terms. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your devices for your family’s own, non-commercial use, under these terms and Google Play’s terms. The app’s pictures, voices, music, characters and code belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. Please do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app. The pictures of your child’s letters that you make and share are yours to use as you like.
Free and full access
The letters A to J and eight paints are free. Full access is a single, one-time purchase, made through Google Play: it unlocks the letters K to Z, every paint, colours that mix and Word Island in the app on the Google account that bought it. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
- The purchase unlocks the app’s content as it is offered. It is not a promise of future updates or new content.
- It works for as long as the app is offered, on devices signed in to the Google account that bought it. Restore in the parents’ area brings it back on a new phone.
- If we ever stop offering the app, copies already installed keep working; they do not depend on our servers.
- The price is shown by Google Play in your currency before you buy. A launch price may apply for a limited time.
Payments and refunds
Google Play handles payment, taxes and receipts. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637): you can ask Google Play directly, and you can also email us.
Changes to the app
We may update the app to fix problems, improve it or follow the law and store rules, and some features may change. We will not take away the content full access unlocks while the app is offered.
The app as it is
We work to make the app calm, safe and correct, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for anything to do with the app is limited to what you paid for it. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

The law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without taking away the mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is published at this address with a new “last updated” date.
